Consistent performance as always

This was my third time using Jumper, and it's been consistently good. I mainly use the smart navigation for editors and the speech-to-text for editors, which always delivers. The last project was a bit tight on deadline, but Jumper helped keep things moving just like my previous orders. Glad to see the reliability hasn't changed.

Helpful for production workflow

I used Jumper for a recent project involving a lot of raw footage. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. Delivery, well, it's a cloud service, so access was immediate. The AI footage search worked as advertised, letting me quickly locate specific scenes using keywords. The video transcription tool was accurate enough for most of my needs, though a few minor edits were required. Integration with my existing video editing workflow was pretty seamless. Overall, it definitely helped accelerate our media production. Support wasn't needed, so can't comment there. It's a solid tool for anyone dealing with large volumes of video.

Made editing way easier

So, I decided to give Jumper a try for my last video project, and honestly, it made things so much smoother. The facial recognition for video actually worked pretty well, which was a nice surprise. It just felt really intuitive, you know? Saved me a bunch of time finding shots. Pretty happy with it overall.

Good value with annual plan

I signed up for Jumper's annual subscription after my free trial and it saved me a good chunk of change compared to the monthly cost. The AI-powered b-roll finder helped me cut down on editing time, which is a big win. For the price I paid, it felt like a really solid investment for my solo creator work. Definitely worth it for the savings.

Hey, does Jumper have any kind of free trial or something similar? Wanna try it out before I commit to a subscription.

G Gwen Whitfield 2 months ago
Yeah, they totally do! I signed up for a free trial last month to check it out. You get a good feel for it.

Yep, there's definitely a free trial. You can usually find it right on their homepage. Gives you enough time to see if it fits your workflow without paying anything.

Anyone know if Jumper integrates well with DaVinci Resolve? That's what I use mostly.

D Dan 2 months ago
I use it with Resolve all the time, works great. You just export your timeline from Jumper and import it into Resolve.

Yeah, it integrates fine with most major NLEs, including Resolve. I've seen a few tutorials on YouTube showing how to get everything set up. It's not a native plugin or anything, but the export options make it super compatible.

Is Jumper actually worth it compared to something like Descript or OpusClip? Heard good things but worried it's just another expense.

J Julia T. 2 months ago
It really depends on what you need. If you're doing a lot of long-form content and need deep dives into footage, Jumper shines. Descript is more for generating short clips and editing via text, which Jumper also does but focuses more on the search aspect.

I'd say Jumper is more for actual footage management and finding specific moments quickly from raw files. OpusClip and Munch are mostly for auto-generating viral shorts from long videos. Jumper is more of an editor's assistant for the pre-edit and early edit phases. They're kind of different tools for different parts of the process, even though they all use AI.

Thinking about getting Jumper to help with my YouTube videos. Is it really that much better than just manually logging stuff in Premiere Pro?

B Beth Okafor 2 months ago
Oh man, huge difference. I used to spend hours just finding clips, especially for reaction videos. Jumper cuts that down by like 80% for me.

i'm a student, do they have a student discount for this?

I think they do! I remember seeing something about it. Worth checking their site or support.

Yep, they absolutely have a student discount. My friend got one for his film school projects. Just look for the info on their discounts page, usually you just need to verify your student status.
